Messages

You can communicate with the speaker by sending messages to the speaker display. Messages can be used from owner or moderator view.

Components of the messages list

Modifying messages

Adding a message

Use the “Add message” button to create a new message. The message is created blank, and you need to edit the text.

Editing message text

You can edit a message text in the edit box. There is no save button, the message will be saved automatically a fraction of second after you stop typing.

Changing message color

Messages can be displayed with different colors. Use the color buttons to change the color.

Reordering the messages

In case you need to change the order of the messages, you can do that by dragging them by the drag handle

Deleting messages

Messages can be deleted by pressing the trashcan button.

Displaying messages

You can display a message by pressing the Show button. For the active message, this button changes to Hide, so it can be used to hide the message.

Currently displayed message can be expanded by clicking the Expand button. Click that buttin again to collapse the message and reveal the information that is hidden while the message is expanded.

The flash button can be used to flash the message a few times to attract the speaker’s attention.
